I'm currently finishing my PhD in biological engineering at MIT and living in Cambridge, MA. My academic research is on microfluidic sensors for biological measurements.
I've also been very active in the MIT Energy Club and I helped organize the 2009 MIT Clean Energy Prize. I'm very interested in the future of energy and biofuels in particular, especially the sugarcane variety.
I was born and raised in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and have been living in the United States since 1996.
